El Capital.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 9:10 NIV

So today I went to the state capital for my third year of senator for a day. Honestly, the capital building might just be my favorite place ever. I love that building, the texture, designs and everything! Last year I not only went for a senator simulation, but job shadowing! Of course I am called to missions (obviously) but I love politics, debates, and would love to work in government if God leads me in that direction. But anyhow, below are some pictures from last year.. (iphone quality) accompanied in the bathroom and front of capital by my dear friend Amanda! She's so lovely.

This year I let my hair out of the sock bun, and left the heals at home. Those floors are gorgeous, but not so comfortable to walk on all day and I didn't want to wine and complain about my sore toes. I went with a brown and black striped body con dress that I had since last summer. For some reason I didn't have the confidence to wear it and tucked it back into my closet for a year? Yeah idk.. but score for me! And a re-wear blazer from two years ago that I wore to the same event... oops. Also, my huge bag that everyone made sure to tell me was huge and of course the black necklace that I wear a lot.. :) heh Overall it was a successful-so-much-fun-day that I enjoyed ever so much! I wish this wasn't my last year/ I could just job shadow everyday. :)
Dressing up is so fun.

Mom is workin it!
We also got in TONS of trouble for taking both of these pictures... but we're still alive so its good!!
